I am about to graduate Master's in Data Science and have a decent Software Engineering background. Despite that I can't wrap my head around networks cyber security and have the same opinion on computer viruses

The key is don't write software with security flaws in it. If your software doesn't have any flaws then they can't be exploited.

Happens to me all the time. When I'm about to make a mistake I stop and decide not to make the mistake. It's pretty simple if you think about it 🤔

"Code review? Just tell your people to do it right the first time."

Nonono, you see - you only find the bugs if you are looking at the code. If you never put it into code review in the first place, you won’t have found any bugs, and therefore they won’t exist. Flawless concept taps temple
