One of my best friends visited for over 10 days and when we had to take her to the airport my kid was like “I don’t want you to leave. Take me with you.” And then made the sweetest little pouty face. It was a bittersweet moment.
What’s amusing is I wanted to get a photo of it but couldn’t and here it is.

I caved and bought an expensive nugget couch. The reason why: Imaginary cats.
My child has a climbing thing inside his playroom Which has a small mat under it. He lately has been saying “Come on mama that silly little cat is stuck in the tree again.” He then proceeds to climb up the ladder, rescue the cat, then climb back down. But he has cats in his hands so he does not hold the ladder. He holds his hands in fists.
He then comes down and we pet the pretend cat.
I just need more cushions, everywhere.
Don’t adopt/rescue imaginary cats. They are expensive and have a bad habit of getting stuck in trees.
Husband is away again for two weeks. It’s insanity.
We only made it out of the house today to take the dog on a walk and even that felt like a lot. All the housework is piling up. I am sure I’ll have a crazy cleaning burst of energy one of these days…
I agree with what you are saying but you are totally getting downvoted for the make small phones great again part.

Omg this happened to me for the first time with the last batch of toilet paper I got. It was from target. I never had that happen before that!
Got toilet paper from aldi this time and thank god it is better.
We had a genuinely great day. I have always wanted to check out this one park that has a firepit and I brought firewood and we made a fire. We played by a creek and our dog was able to run around because no one was there.
Then we went bowling and it was the kiddos first time. I feel like I haven’t had a day like this where things just work out well in…maybe ever?
