Theme reset, app crashes (lemmy.world)

Hello, I'm experiencing what's in the title. When i launch the app, theme is reset to default (system). I don't think I'm missing anything here, as I see a popup ~~dating~~ saying that settings are saved. The thing is that settings show correct options selected, but that doesn't correspond to the color scheme i see.

App also crashes after a somewhat short time. Fastest way is to look at a user's posts, then moving to a community. It happens also while scrolling on Frontpage. I tried to disable all of those I think are the sensible settings. Uninstalled and reinstalled.

there's a channel on YouTube, by louis rossman. you'll find plenty of examples of bs answers from apple tech support in order to make you spend a great deal of money.
