Good God. That was very unsettling to watch. Imagine actually thinking that's an appropriate response to valid concerns about healthcare cuts.

Haha. It's the opposite believe it or not.

I honestly was slightly toasted (still am), having a conversation with my daughter who just arrived in and I couldn't remember "homophobic".

I'm so old I did Latin in school.

We rolled around laughing when we figured out what I meant instead of homo-frightened.

As of this moment, we are at war.

Oh that's cool! Had a look at the galaxian one and I got a big blast of nostalgia as I had astro wars that you highlighted!

Just one more lane bro. Just one more.

I thoroughly enjoyed it and the multiple storylines. It's more than a little on the depressing side but I felt it was a decent epic and achieved what it set out to.

I'm easily satisfied by movies generally though and I watch a good number of them as I find them a great wind down in an otherwise incredibly hectic life but this one was better than average for the films I watch and I curate / filter quite a bit.

Didn't realise this was a feature. Just enabled it.

Edit: +4 after reading the comments. I'm a prolific upvoter.

That was far, far too eloquently written to not have been a staffer.

I was gifted a 4K bluray player for Christmas. Whopper!

I immediately bought my favourite movie of all time - Aliens. I only got around to watching it recently and HOLY COW the detail. I grew up watching it on a VHS that I recorded off the TV.

I'm looking for some recommendations for things to visually blow me away. I was thinking of Interstellar, but I did watch that recently enough.

All suggestions welcome and thank you!

edit: Some absolute bangers of recommendations here, many of which I wouldn't have considered. Thanks folks!
