Most government departments have full offices whose purpose is to eliminate waste. Donald Trump fired a lot of them.

The Trump administration is no place for honesty. Can't have the sheep finding out there's multiple government officials whose full time job is to understand the inner workings of their departments and make them more efficient. Also can't have the sheep finding out Trump fired a bunch of those people.

I can't think of a single person more deserving of an authentic drone attack, though.

The fact of the matter is that the massive federal deficit is not due to wasteful spending, it's due to unsustainably low taxes on the wealthy. Republicans are trying to frame it as Elon failing because if it's framed honestly (Republicans failed because they're overblowing the problem) it'll be harder for them to sell the idea in the future so they can lay waste to public services once more.
