I think you're reading a smidge too much into a shitpost I found on a forum

How's that decentralised gaming ecosystem working out?

[-] Cevilia@lemmy.blahaj.zone 3 points 4 hours ago

At least two, apparently

CBT is literally gaslighting yourself. And the most annoying thing is, it works.

[-] Cevilia@lemmy.blahaj.zone 3 points 5 hours ago

This looks like a special kind of punishment and I'm totally here for it

[-] Cevilia@lemmy.blahaj.zone 11 points 5 hours ago

Everyone sucks here.

Anthropic, slopping out a "Claude-powered AI coding agent" and telling everyone it's safe.

Railway, making backups mutable and allowing them to be deleted with one API call.

And the idiot himself who, when things started going south, typed "DO NOT RUN ANYTHING.", prompting the model to reply. Rather than, oh, I don't know, maybe pulling the fucking plug?

In this particular case, you'd be doing visitors to your site a service.

But yeah, not stupid at all, very sensible given GDPR etc. Can't have a data breach if there's no data to breach. :)

Nah, once my soul's left the body, the husk can just burn.

Out of town I can understand getting upset, but city centre hotels usually only have tiny car parks, if any at all.

One of those nuanced things the internet doesn't do very well at, I feel.

Not to dissuade you, but a complaint to head office might yield better results.

Best case with your plan: you put one post-it note on one sodastream, and you cost sodastream one sale.

A polite complaint to Lidl's head office, explaining that them selling this kind of product makes you uncomfortable shopping there, and briefly why, might make Lidl decide not to buy their products again. Which would cost them many more sales.

It's a very good game but I don't remember getting any trans vibes from it.

I'm old enough to remember when the prices went above £1 a litre, all the garages having to get their signs updated so they could have four digits on the price. Some of them using wheelie bin stickers or handwritten "1"s as a stop gap.

Wonder what they'll do this time around, the ones that didn't think far enough ahead to have a full seven-segment display fitted?

Went in this morning on my off day and my supervisor told me that we won't be doing our Easter knockdowns until "at least the end of the week", to her that means Thursday.

One data point isn't a trend but might be worth bearing in mind.
