She was very spicy today over all. I think it's because she hasn't had any training sessions for about a hot minute.

We did a little bit of easy training today and then I let her graze for a while before I got assistance in treating her foot. It should be healed up by the time I go out on Wednesday!

So here’s the photo that was removed by mods today. This is Mel at the top of her cat tower that has a climb through bottom and she is holding on through the bottom and the top this photo was taken with an iPhone 16 Pro. It’s too bad. The mods do not recognize a real photo compared to AI #caturday

She was very spicy about the whole thing, which is understandable given how her foot is infected. Hopefully she'll be feeling a bit better when I go see her on Monday.

I hate seeing her sore like this. I'm not used to dealing with thrush, so it's a bit hard for me to handle it alone. The horses I had as a kid had a much better farm to run around on, so their feet were always in great shape. Thankfully I have a lot of support and assistance in this time of learning and healing.

She was not happy about us treating the thrush because it is very uncomfortable for her. I gave her an apple afterwards.

Hopefully it clears up soon. I'll be applying treatment to it every other day until it's healed. I dished out like $60 on the good treatment, so hopefully it works

Some spoons [OC] (lemmy.world)

Probably one of the least interesting posts I've ever made...

Some spoons from a cutlery set, a series called “Rosen” from a department store, Åhléns, in Sweden. It’s from the 1970’s, and was produced up until the early 2000’s.

Left to right:

  • Mocca spoon
  • Coffe spoon
  • Tea spoon
  • Dessert spoon
  • Latte spoon
  • Compot/drink spoon
  • Tablespoon
  • Serving spoon

They all get used on a daily or weekly basis.

I only framed the shot; I certainly didn’t build the lobby, nor install the ceiling, and I think that’s where most of the credit should be given. This place is enchanting and I can’t even get that ceiling to render correctly on an image. Sometimes even when I don’t have a ticket, I just stand in the lobby and look up.

Thanks for seeing my work!

I played with some clever reflection practical effects to give the appearance of a giant mech, perhaps something like from Nier: Automata, coming in from the Puget Sound.

This picture was captured atop the Space Needle, but I wanted to make something decidedly not touristy.

Thanks for seeing my work!

As the title states I’ve got bad hands and my hobbies include Rock Climbing, Piano, Golf, and Running. Suffice to say I can’t do shit.

This was a tricky operation as where the bend was is also where all the nerves and blood vessels are housed so there is risk of termination (loss of) the finger, loss of sensation, blood supply etc.

It was elective but the pros outweigh the risks for me with my hobbies and how they help me stay not sad.

Before. You can also see the scar from my first operation on the ring finger. As well as lots of flaky skin from climbing.
