The filing confirms what Conn-Selmer had announced as a tentative plan in January. At that time, the company said it intended to transfer professional French horn production to its brass factory in Elkhart, Indiana, while moving production of tubas, sousaphones, and student and intermediate French horns offshore. Conn-Selmer describes itself as the largest manufacturer of band and orchestra instruments in the United States, with brands including Bach, Conn, King, Holton, Leblanc, Ludwig, and Selmer.

The law prohibits anyone from “knowingly” publishing or threatening to publish intimate images, including AI-made “deepfake” images, without consent. Social media companies and websites must remove violating content within 48 hours following a victim’s request.

The effort to ban large-scale data centers in Ohio is one step closer to getting on the ballot. On Wednesday, the Ohio Ballot Board unanimously approved a proposed amendment to the state constitution that would prohibit the construction of any data center using more than 24 megawatts a month — about 28 houses worth of power.

With the Ballot Board’s approval, organizers must get more than 400,000 signatures before July 1 in order to put the amendment on the November ballot.
