Seriously man ... my friends think it's a joke but it drives me absolutely crazy. I've physically hurt people that wouldn't stop aggroing me with it

I love Nintendo. I've bought every single one of their consoles. I am skipping the Switch 2 though.

I feel like giving someone a Switch 2 is a bit like a white elephant. I can't say that I'm a fan of what's happening lately. It's a shame because the industry is where it is because of them. It's a shame they can't treat their customers a little better.

Yeah man ... I stopped playing Marvel Rivals due to the toxicity. League was a shit show of course.

whenever I see the reaction on the girls face I feel embarrassed but when I look at the guy's face ... I don't know why I can't help but laugh.

hey! I'm in Markham ... our company is trying to be AI first. We're having it set up a brand new project from scratch.

Instead of letting the devs talk about it and then using AI to build the code. They funnel the batch of tickets straight into the AI machine and we have to review the code afterwards.

It takes so long to review the code. Most devs don't like reading lots of Markdown files to get the assumptions onto a big project.

The guys pushing this seem to just negate the fact that we need to spot-check things and follows and things make sense.

They took all our PR feedback and just fed it back into AI and we have to do another gigantic PR review. It feels a bit silly.

What's the equivalent of sane-washing for billionaires?

as soon as he’s not in control, there will be fuckery

This is what I don't think a lot of people will be prepared for ...

I dread if there's gonna some useless MBA coming around afterwards and saying some shit like: "why don't we charge steam users $9.99 to play their games per month?" and start cutting projects that benefit gamers to "save money" -- who needs Proton? who needs to invest in things like couch co-op? Then give themselves a shitload of money in exchange for all the goodwill that Valve have built up over the years.

I worked at a company which did the gay pride logo switch.

I know it doesn't mean much from people but the ones who pushed changing the logos were from our LGBT employees.

MAGA Influencers are all in a chat and they all receive talking points and are paid to say things in a coordinated campaign.

They say Tucker isn't in on this ... how many of you wanna bet Rogan is though ...

"The Gemini-powered health coach will act as a combination fitness coach, sleep expert, and health and wellness advisor."

$10 a month feels steep to me, but there's other health plans like Whoop and stuff. Bevel is one that is device agnostic. I'm guessing this is why Google killed the Fitbit but I don't have crazy faith in Google maintaining things.

This doesn't mean LLMs aren't useful, this is just a funny example and the title is from the YT video.

Masculinity has become radioactive.

It’s one of the most polarizing forces in modern culture. Families fracture over it, politics feeds on it and entire online ecosystems monetize it. And no one seems to agree on what it is anymore.
