It bothers me that the username of OOC and the t-shirt don't match...

I was gonna ask you to bite the bullet and do a food review, but it seems that the article thoughtfully anticipated that and included some.

It was boring and straightforward - the only reason to patronize this restaurant over others is its atmosphere of fawning jingoism and political backbiting.

Well, it came from the state of Chihuahua, naturally. Just don't ask how it's made.

Depends on the goal- you want a forever war? This'll work almost too well.

Is this because Denmark's AIPAC analogue can't effectively compromise students?

Those electric arc lighters are neat, but the noise they make drives me up the wall.

If you can, try to get some of the attendees to record their experiences with gay culture and the Community as a whole - autobiographical writing is good, but an interview format would be better I think (sufficient staff/volunteers permitting)

It would be a nice way to demonstrate how even if they aren't queer, they have a place and impact on the community, as well as recording stories that will likely be lost in a few years.

Hope and trust will only take you as far as your politicians are willing to play along. Trump happened to the United States, but demagogues with great aspirations and a willingness to bend rules to (and beyond) the breaking point are by no means unique to them.

Which is to say: make it legally binding instead of relying on the goodwill of politicians.

Such bushy tails! Are we certain they aren't squirrels?

That's Lindsay Graham. He made a post (maybe a tweet?) that amounted to insinuated threats against Greta Thunberg and the Freedom Flotilla she joined.

Amazing. Assuming this is true, and he actually gets any, he can hit his son with "I came in your mom last night."

It may lead to billions in therapy bills, but thet kid is getting the closest thing to the 2006 public Halo game experience.

Under fire: some folks are speaking out on twitter.

I'm under more fire when I get called in to talk with the manager.

The discontinued Silencerco Maxim 9 sporting a Leupold DeltaPoint Pro.

I like collecting guns for their novelties, rather than the complete set. I don't need four plastic fantastics from different manufacturers. This one is fun because it has an integrated suppressor, resulting in a yuge muzzle. Takes bog-standard Glock 17 magazines and has a dogshit trigger, but ai like it anyway.

It's common to the point of mootness, but: when describing the planet, Earth is a proper noun and should be capitalized. Otherwise you are referring to soil.

I sit down from cleaning out an office with a found magazine - was struck by how much is the same as it ever was.

I've recently come into possession of a large number of Mason jars. Being a fan of sauerkraut and knowing of Lemmy's significant German/Czech populatuon, I'd like to ask how you make the best sauerkraut. What do you add beyond salt and cabbage? How do you store it?

I suppose this may also apply to kimchi and other pickled foods, too!
