All porn is illegal in China. There are hundreds of queer romantic novels and such not being targeted, because they don't cross the line into graphic pornography. This is being framed as anti queer but it is actually anti porn

What has yellow vests accomplished through their spontaneous movement? I'm not French and haven't heard of anything coming out of those protests.

Either way, I'm sure dozens of organizations with hierarchy were involved in those protests, and that there were centralized, planned aspects within the movement just as there were spontaneous decentralized aspects

Read Tryanny of Structurelessness by Jo Freeman

It is all about the exact phenomenon you describe, written by an anarchist

Yeah all the queer Chinese people I've talked to about this have told me the only issues they've had is with their family members being homophobic about them specifically. Many people I've talked to didn't have this experience because their parents were fine with it, so it's not everyone's experience, but it does seem to be the most common manifestation of homophobia, directly from family to the person being discriminated against.

Apparently there is even some conversion therapy type outfits that parents put their kids in

Grackle calls are very distinct, but you can use merlin bird id app to be sure.

I'm sure you could find a bird map of your area which says when they are typically around. It could be possible that they are moving around differently due to climate change or just that you hadn't noticed them there at this time before

No I don't think that is happening.

What is more likely is that they are anarchists who just have a couple good takes about specific things. Most anarchists have their own boutique version they follow and there isn't as many set "lines" as there are with MLs. So there are a lot of anarchists who haven't moved passed anarchism because they are overloaded with anti-communist programming, but still come to some correct conclusions that align with ML

The Earth formed socialism over millions of years, as silicates formed and were broken down into fine particulates.

Someone asked you how China doesn't have freedom of speech, which is what you claimed and are responsible for proving. You responded asking "have you been living under a rock?" This is appealing to "common knowledge" as if it is just widely known and no evidence is required. In a different comment you said all your comments were your own thoughts and not based on US propaganda. Unless you have lived in China and had your freedom of speech violated, you are obviously just repeating racist anti-China propaganda that has no evidence. If there was evidence you would provide it but since you can't provide what doesn't exist all you can rely on is the false notion that it-is-known

This is just one direct example debunking your rhetoric and showing it is illogical, but there are more examples in the thread. Instead of trying to form a perspective based on facts or data you are just making racist claims about over a billion people and then refusing to consider that you actually don't know what you're talking about even though it is very obvious to anyone who has spent even a little time looking into this topic

All the comments are saying similar things about how defending cartels is bad.

Two separate questions:

  1. Recently while browsing hexbear on my phone there's been a few times that I click a post and a file download prompt appears, which I rejected each time. iirc it's been only on posts with videos. How can I turn this off and why is this happening in the first place?

  2. How do I turn off auto play for videos? There are many times when I click a post to see the comments and it starts loudly playing a video.

A new study reveals that the SARS-CoV-2 spike protein remains in brain-protective tissues and skull bone marrow for years after infection, potentially driving long COVID’s neurological symptoms. Using advanced imaging, researchers discovered elevated spike protein levels in these regions, leading to chronic brain inflammation and increased risks of neurodegenerative conditions.

mRNA COVID-19 vaccines were shown to reduce spike protein accumulation by 50%, though residual protein may still pose risks. The findings highlight the need for new therapies and early diagnostic tools to address long-term effects on brain health.
