Being freelance made me hate taxes like a libertarian except I only hate them because the right is slashing public services and increasing police budgets and because I know billionaires pay less than me

I think there’s also something to be said about taxes and regulations being so complicated that you need to either be able to pay someone to do it for you or you need to be privileged enough to have learned tricks that are not easily available otherwise. To me it always seemed intended.

Some gabi emotes would be great but I think they'll need to be cropped in slightly more so the expression is more visible? Maybe? I don't know how emote size constraints work actually so I could be completely wrong given we have some large ones long-corbyn

The Chief probably dodges VAT somehow. There's probably some incredibly bureaucratic way around it that only people in the right circles can find others to talk to about how to do it.

Anyway I love Gabi getting squished between all the speech bubbles in this it's very good illustration of being overwhelmed by sudden onslaught of rules you weren't aware of

I did have a fuller version of that one but started smaller to see how it’d turn out gabi-thinking

I already traced out another thinking one too (and have a fuller version of it too) gabi-thinking

There’s some others that I’ve gotten closer to just faces, but those are some awfully big ears, so they might still not turn out great falke-doubt
