Yeah. That’s the point. that group you described is a minority in the party.
TBH, older black women put Biden in front in 2020. The same women who saved us from a GOP controlled senate when they came out in force in GA.
If you want to understand the Democratic Party ask a 75 YO black lady who hasn’t missed an election or a church service in her life what her priorities are.
Source?
EDIT: I see someone took the time to downvote me but didn't provide a source. Is that because demographic information isn't provided by the DNC for primary results and this claim is completely made up?
I wasn't able to find good data of the age breakdown, but here's an editorial with a bunch of statistics that claims black women are what put Biden in office. So I'd rate OP's claim as "plausible" only because we know that old people vote more than young people.
This article is about the general election. We're talking about the primaries.
Sorry, missed that. Here's some demographic information from CNN broken down by state. After looking at a few of the states, Bernie's base was absolutely white people under age 45, as Biden won all the other demographic groups.
That doesn't conclude Biden won because of elderly black women.
Which is why I said "plausible" and not "confirmed"
It's not "plausible" unless you have the total number of each demographic.
Dig up some exit polls from the 2020 SC dem primary. My statement was based on my recollection from the time. But that is what I was referencing.
You're claiming black women elected Biden in the 2020 primaries because they helped him win in one state?
