I'm a Scotch man. I like Aberfeldy 18, Balvenie single cask, and Kilchoman for my top 3.

I also love a Dubonnet Manhattan or a hazy IPA. Red over white wine, IMO

Another great variation is to add a splash of aperol! (About 1/4/ to 1/3 oz). It mellows the bitterness of the compari just the perfect amount in my opinion.
