my toddler son entered the room, unable to breathe and grasping at his throat. as I am a highly trained American cop, my fear pushes me to deploy a tactical response. my first general order is to gain control of the situation. to immediate effect of the afformentioned duty, I unholstered my weapon, pointed it at him, and yelled at him to get on the ground.
my brain has been certified by the shooting board as "Good, Actually" and I have been cleared to return to my status as training officer.
