What a weird response to someone literally killing themselves in an incredibly excruciating and visible manner in an effort to do something

let's all self immolate ourselves for Palestine, see how that will go. Better yet, let's start the revolution by all collectively killing ourselves, that will surely make the bourgeois feel sorry about us and just go down. You know the problem with what he did? he wasted his life for NOTHING, this self immolation just like the past few self immolations done for Palestine where the easiest things that the western propaganda swept under the rug, So what if he's a soldier? they'd just wipe it off as a "he was mentally insane, this is all due to male loneliness" nonsense

but theres no way to know if this man had any access to relevant personnel or any higher officials in the US gov. And theres no saying as to whether soemthing like a scuttled jet in some Air Force hanger would make an ounce of difference in Palestine (and this is assuming this guy could have carried out sabotage on that level alone, which is a long shot).

All would've been better options than self immolating.

As awful as it may be, the suicide of a service member may be more effective than any other thing he could have done. Propoganda can be, if properly utilized, a far more useful and effective tool than adventurism and individual acts of violence.

What is the difference between this act and adventurism? atleast sometimes with adventurism a fascist dies.

I'm Algerian, even if I wanted to do something crazy like take the israeli embassy as a hostage I wouldn't be able to because we don't have and israeli embassy over here, I don't need to raise awareness or protest because everyone here knows what's going on and our government itself is pro Hamas.

Something more than self immolation, and there's a hundred things he could've done instead of just wasting his life.

You are so naive to believe that the self immolation won't be turned into pro israeli propaganda, easily spinnable as a cult thing... we're talking about a genocide over here the mfs we're dealing with are funding bombing children in Gaza they see the same videos you and I see of kids crying, of ambulances being shot, of parents losing children and children losing parents, do you seriously think that a person setting himself on fire will nudge them? No the only way for them to feel anything is to be hit in the pockets to make this genocide not worth the money they're losing. What benefit will this bring to the Palestinian cause? A tragedy? Comrade if someone's heart felt nothing for people being kicked out of history for 75 years, they'd feel nothing about a soldier killing himself, it just means they won't have to pay him his salary anymore.

All of those acts would make equally little material difference. A jet that gets scuttled gets fixed, a killed officer gets replaced, leaked information might not be possible and it would just get suppressed. All of those things are great for Israeli propaganda, but self immolation can be used for Palestine. One fascist dying does nothing. Propaganda from their death will just create new fascists. One person's actions have never stopped fascism.
