where's that yu-gi-oh meme where a guy says a vote for a third party is a vote for trump and then yu-gi-oh pulls a card out that says a third party vote is a vote for biden and then the dude recoils at this epic comeback

this kind of thing hasn't worked for me because I think liberals can't fathom someone voting for Trump. They think of conservative voters like a tornado or gravity, like it's an inherent feature of nature that can't be fought or bargained with. They only see room to gain ground among leftists.

and conservatives don't believe their candidate wins through voting, but rather through divine appointment, so nothing is gained by threatening to sit out a vote

Why is it that Americans always act like this? Do other countries with two main parties do this? From my own personal experience, I've never been shamed by a labour canvasser like that, but it might be a case that they're like this elsewhere in the UK.

Also some quick maths:

not voting is a vote for Trump

not voting is a vote for Biden

Therefore, by voting twice you've committed voter fraud.

Estimated 66.6% of eligible voters voted in 2020

Therefore ~a third of Americans commited voter fraud.

And the Biden administration claims that election wasn't rigged?
