Iâve been neglecting the plants. Most of the spinnos are gone, the two remaining starting to bolt. Everything else is alive.
The rosemary cuttings in the paper cups on the windowsill are still bent wrong in the stem but have new growth.
I pulled up the biggest carrots to make room for the rest to grow. I havenât been keeping up on the fertiliser so theyâre a bit slow growing and small. Tiny even.
But they look like little round carrots and have a strong carrot smell.

Life has been a lot to manage lately which is why the very casual attention to them :(
Mate, I have more energy and resources than you atm but I've never been able to grow carrots, not even stubby cultivars, so you're doing alright, don't let yourself be your worst enemy if you can help it :D

Tbh except for tiny pots, this weather has been perfect for just letting them manage themselves. All i've been doing is peeping at pots to make sure they're draining ok
I have âself wateringâ pots and had to pull random mushrooms out.
I wish I had a real garden and the strength/motivation to work it

No i just meant that having mushrooms/mycellium in the soil is often a good thing for the plants :)
