I think my complete disinterest in learning Spanish has to do with my growing up in Florida. Most of the Spanish speakers here are fucking Cuban Gusanos who I’d rather not speak with in the first place.

Also I can’t roll my Rs

people with rhotacism exist in rolled-r language societies and they're not shunned or ridiculed, nobody cares after middle school. you dont need to roll your Rs, because for whatever reason, everyone can recognise an R sound even though all the R sounds are super different. weird shit, that.

I'm tongue-tied so I just use guttural R, its close enough.
