Edit: a friend just told me that not only did the guys only uncle not die in iraq, he was also never in the military and the guy entirely made it up just to try and shame me for making fun of veterans

You might be perceived as an asshole but those same people probably view that uncle as a hero who died doing the right thing. They are of course wrong on both counts

one of my friends sent me a text about ten minutes ago saying that the guy only has one uncle who's never served in the military or even stepped foot in iraq so like i dont think i have to worry about that now
