I wish there was an easy route here. My wife and I are very conscious and find ourselves struggling to not only find likeminded people to safely hang out with, but also to explain to others that our concerns have never changed and our behavior is always gonna stay in line with those concerns and our comfort level.

Really really wish I had a good answer for you tho. Best I can do is remind you that you aren’t alone and that your concerns and feelings are valid.
