We had a whole struggle session over this. It's honestly presumptuous and arrogant of you to spit this shit out, as if it hasn't been something that has been discussed heavily by the site. The moderation policy of tone on this site has been up for debate several times, quite recently with federation.

You yourself encourage another user to meet others with questions and curiosity, but then turn right around on this concept when it is you who encounter something you disagree with. Instead of assuming people here are uneducated on this line of thought, ask why it is that this is how users on hexbear chose to interact with smug libs.

To assume that we ourselves haven't had a discussion on "oh but shouldn't we be nice and welcoming and explain shit" is honestly quite rude, and it doesn't get better when you try to berate instead of engage in dialogue on the subject. Do better yourself.
