I think Light might be off the right-wing radar because they recognize Light as a centrist LIB . My evidence:

Impressionable teenager that probably would have had a successful career in anything else gets untold power, politics is a fuck
You could squint and make a case he had some good intentions starting out but then becomes more and more fashy
the death notes are basically like drone strikes
Light seems like the kinda guy that would post NAFO memes
Sometimes seen wearing a tan suit
He would try to use the note on Donald Trump, but would fail repeatedly because he would always spell his last name as "Drumpf"
