I'm a school bus driver and while it's weird enough that we generally get tips (from the parents, not the kids of course) at Christmas and the end of the school year, a co-worker of mine last year handed out tip envelopes (like what garbage truck workers leave on the cans) to all the kids on his bus. My neighborhood is quite safe but even here an envelope filled with cash wouldn't last a week. Nothing would happen if they didn't get a tip.
