the_dunk_tank
It's the dunk tank.

The allowed in "anti-tankies" from 196, and that became basically the only comm that matters. 196 is nominally pro-trans but does so in a really weirdly horny way, and because 196 is predominantly cis it comes off very chasery. The admins of blahaj refused to take action agaisnt chasery posts, and the mod of the 196 comm actively defended them.
They don't even hide it:
@[email protected] you tried never trust liberals
i got banned and the comment removed for calling someone out for fascist apologia, but one of the times someone was openly transphobic at me in that comm it took like a full day for the comment to be removed and they weren't even banned from the comm, let alone the instance
like when i brought it up to ada personally she told me that comm mods dont have the power to hand out bans and once they do anything to it resolves the report so she never saw it and like idk enough about mod powers and lemmy to know whether thats true or not so i just accepted it
Really shows their priorities as a "trans instance". Easier to ban trans socialists (re: 90% of the IRL trans community) than chasers and holocaust deniers
Also comm mods can ban from comms but it isn't site wide
can confirm, actually had to talk to Ada in dms to get her to take action against blahaj zone chasers who were being weird at my blahaj account one of whom called me chaserphobic for saying i wouldnt feel comfortable being around a chaser after he said some really chasery stuff
can't find the original conversation in DMs with Ada unfortunately because it was on my fedi account that runs on a fork of misskey which is absolutely awful for finding old DMs
the context and the replies
They did the thing where liberals keep siding with anti-communists and inevitably become fascists
They're chaser-inclusive first, trans-inclusive second
"trans-inclusive instance"
