    pretty sure it's by design. in his natural state he'd probably look bland and soulless like Zuckerberg. but some clever PR people made him wear slippers and reddit shirts and a gross goatee so millennials will look at him and go "he's just a harmless dweeb, just like us"

    I'd say it's still a purposeful effort to make him look more human, a "wacky eccentric" "outside of the establishment" "probably too smart to care about appearances" rather than looking like a stereotypical evil tech oligarch in a standard male haircut and office shirt + hiking vest

    If nothing else, the fucking facial hair! He looks like a dude who works in a porn shop.

    I get why some billionaires dress like dweebs because they just wants to wear what's comfortable don't give a fuck, but he has to actually sculpt that goatee thing. Plus the guy has the money for a barber, a good barber too.
