And honestly bisexual is just such a stable fork overall. It functions well with mainstream architectures but also makes a great entry point into sexualities that aren't expressed in binary format. AND if you actually do the work of reading into the docs you find out that it's not even just limited to the traditional two-gender dichotomy. So if you really really need some super specific fork of a fork of a fork for some super specifically narrow use-case that's fine, but honestly in 90% of the cases bisexual actually covers most of the features you need and is widely recognized / compatible with the other stuff you're using with half the effort.

Edit: just wanna give a shoutout to my hubs. I grew up as a tumblr pan girl and honestly he's super based as a bi dude. First of all it's way harder to be bi as a dude and also he introduced me to the actual bi manifesto and how the bi's have always been super inclusive to begin with by not assuming there are two genders to begin with but also that trans girls & boys are just girls & boys so that aspect doesn't count as an extra gender to be attracted to anyway soooo. Mans has always been super based and I love him a lot.

I remember applying for jobs in 2015 that were asking for 5+years experience with LGBTQ+ality for an entry level position! Fucking bonkers.
