According to a viral survey by Enhancv, 92% of recruiters do not use Applicant Tracking System (ATS) in order to auto-reject job applicants’ resumes. However, after reviewing all of the research, journalism, and government investigations into AI-driven HR hiring tools, I have determined that claim to be untrue.

Not only are most job applicants’ resumes getting auto-rejected most of the time, but there’s a mountain of evidence that they’re getting auto-rejected for all kinds of hidden and absurd reasons that have nothing to do with whether or not they’re qualified for the job.

In today’s video, we’re doing a thorough investigation into why the HR industry wants to convince us that ATS tools are “fair” and “objective” when they’re not, what the research actually says, and how perverse incentives in the corporate world are leading HR professionals to zealously support the active destruction of the American job market (yes, it really is that deep).

Oh boy, this video and the one that he did as a follow-up some hours ago were a sure way to get my heart pumping aggressively this morning. I almost want AI to be used to replace every single HR job. All those HR """"professionals"""" who never even bothered to properly watch and read the thing before jumping to cyberbullying should be ousted and kicked out of their jobs.

It's literally people's lives, fucking hell. HR professionals do not understand that their decisions can impact the livelihoods of people, if they are eating well or sleeping properly. The whole thing is perverse and downright insane.

if they are unaware of, or able to ignore, the fact that their decisions affect real people's livelihoods, that makes them ideal candidates for HR positions. the entire purpose of HR is to protect the company, not its employees.
