Look at this monstrosity New Zealand pumped out during World War II. Built in case of Japanese invasion, the tank was made by slapping corrugated iron on a tractor and calling it a day. The Japanese tanks were hardly great, but a Ha-Go is infinitely better than this. Nonetheless, I love it for its shittiness.

I think my first 6 months after I broke up with my ex (wed been together for 11 years), I dreamt of them every night and we were always still together, and they were boring dreams of our daily life. Nothing cool or like metaphorical. I still felt so connected to them more or less for 3 years. Its not nearly as bad anymore and I still get dreams about them every once in a while, but I also go months without thinking about them. It all takes time.

Very similar experience when my 19-year relationship ended. It was years of dreams and arguing with the ex in my head until I was able to feel completely free of that attachment. The 9-month relationship I had after that only had like a 1.5 month hangover, in comparison.
