And I believe a lot of people had these things called "jobs", except they were even less voluntary than they are now, so being at work for the entirety of the sunny daytime period of 10 AM to 3 PM hasn't exactly been invented with capitalism. The one thing capitalism has changed is it gathered everyone into the cities because there's a lot less support of small countryside schools and such. So instead of walking 5 KM to bus stop to take the bus to school, kids can now take a city bus that stops closer to their home and comes every 30 minutes at most. Now, thanks to capitalism, we're dealing with heatwaves beyond predictions and snowstorms that out freeze historic data, so I wouldn't say that capitalism isn't impacting the weather.
