Maybe it's a cultural thing, but naming your daughter "Glory of her father Goddess Fatherlover" is a bit weird to me.

    The man credited with inventing the mortgage was 15th century Englishman Nicholas Barbon. Sometimes his last name is rendered Barebon or Barebone; because Benjamin Franklin hadn't invented spelling yet. Nicholas Barbon's middle name was apparently "If-Jesus-Christ-had-not-died-for-thee-thou-hasdst-been-damned".

    His dad's name was Praise-God Barbon.

    Look, if you ever want to know why American theology is as fucked as it is, it's because we were colonized by people like THAT.

    Heck, you don't have to look farther than any given Tim. That name derives from Greek "timotheos", which means "he who honors God". Any atheist named Tim is at risk of spontaneously triggering an Alanis Morissette song.
