Florida and New York will be underwater, and every state up to like the western edge of Colorado will be ashen lands from wildfires except maybe Washington and Oregon. There'll be research into moving the rich humans underground by this point, but it'll be too little too late as climate refugees the world over burn alive under an uncaring sun.
All that'll be left between the Rockies and the Atlantic will be a supercharged tornado alley
I feel like the rich would be more likely to research a space ark.
