Which supporting freedom democracy did we support? Are you just not counting the socialist and communist democracies our CIA overthrew and installed a pro capitalist dictator?
Believing the USA was ever a “freedom democracy” supporter is pure delusion.
You are very very wrong.
When they liberated Europe and the world in WW2 from the axis powers together with England, Canada and many other allies, there is no doubt USA supported freedom and democracy. And even granted the conquered countries their freedom.
So USA’s identity stems from 1945 years ago after a world war, and not the other most recent 80 years of despicable, anti democratic behavior?
I fail to see how that’s not completely delusional.
You just wrote in past tense, giving me the freedom to use the most obvious example that you are wrong.
Here you even use EVER, further legitimizing my point.
You are moving the goal post, and absolutely USA has been helping democracies like for instance South Korea and Taiwan a lot, even Japan could be included in that list. And the formation of NATO to protect democracies against Soviet Union and now Russia is also an example.
Trump is not a NATO supporter, he is on the contrary trying to destroy it. And NATO is absolutely created with the main objective to defend democracies on both sides of the Atlantic.
