Last time I was on Thingiverse browsing, someone had spent the past day uploading hundreds of models of women squatting. Just page after page. I gave up and went somewhere else. Who the fuck thinks we want to see this

As someone who has been deep into 3d printing for a long time, even selling prints that I bought licenses for, there are a LOT of people who want exactly that.
I don't not want to see women squatting, but will pass on Ai generated models of that though thanks.

AI really shows how broken and non-existant moderation is on these "platforms".
printables has a "no ai" and a "no politics" checkbox. I almost never see AI or political prints with that turned on
It has nothing to do with AI. Pornographic models for 3d printing have been everywhere in large numbers long before the current AI became a thing.
That and batmans. There is an overlap
Don't forget the flexi-snakes. So many flexi-snakes. Fidget toys still seem pretty popular after all these years too.
It’s crazy that the 3d printed flexi snakes and dragons are selling in retail stores with full on retail packaging these days. I sold a few through Instagram a while ago, can’t image how you’d get them to retail
