They are simply pointing out an important piece of information. "The system isn't working" inherently includes the statement "the system can be changed to work" and "the system used to work", both of which are completely untrue.

The people saying "the system is working exactly as intended" are trying to make sure that when we do finally have enough momentum to birth something new, we do that instead of trying to fruitlessly "fix" something that can never work as we need it to work, or lapse back into "just enough" people doing well to keep everyone else oppressed.

This framework, this system, will never work. It was designed by a small group that can be easily identified, to benefit a small group that can be easily identified, at the expense of literally everyone else. Any "fix" will just end up back here again. We need a new system, and it's important to state that until we get it.

    This is the correct answer. People want change without knowing what to change. People think voting in a Democrat will fix the problems. It may make things better but that alone will not fix the real issues we face.
