I rechecked the log since you posted a screenshot and I could verify the username and I was mistaken. Someone else was banned shortly before the self deletion and I assumed they were one and the same.
I still don't think you handled the situation poorly. She will be welcome back if she chooses to return.
Though I may not be willing to engage in quite the same way as a lot of people here, Lemmy is very near and dear to me, and I don't want my modlog to be any longer than it already is. :)
