I believe this month will tip it into the lower quality oil which is harder to process/is unclear how much is just sludge. 250,000-280,000 barrels is that tipping point iirc, currently there's 304,000 and they use ~25,000 barrels a month

At 80,000 left in the reserve the facilities will be risking permanent damage by removing any more oil, I think they have to flood the caves and the oil rises to be scooped up

There's some oil still coming through Oman and Saudi but that may be just delaying the inevitable collapse til the US is in the dead of winter
