I’m sorry to come back with another difficult update so soon after my last one.I hope you’ve all been doing well
A few days ago, my sister suddenly became very sick while we were having supper . She started vomiting and complained of headaches, stomach pain and body aches. That night she became much worse and started having diarrhea.
By 6am the next morning, I rushed her to the nearest clinic.
The tests came back positive for malaria and typhoid . She was very weak but thankfully she was able to start treatment.
The last few days have been really difficult watching her go through this. She has been vomiting a lot and the doctor recommended passion fruit juice or mango to help keep her hydrated and give her some energy while she’s recovering.
We used some of the small amount we had managed to set aside from the previous support to pay for her testing and get her some drinks.
She’s still receiving treatment, which I’m very relieved about but now we’ve hit another difficult part.
The clinic is asking us to pay $ 384 upfront for her treatment and they need the payment before they can continue.
I’m honestly really worried. I don’t want her treatment to be interrupted because we can’t raise the money.
If anyone reading this is able to help with her medical costs, even a small amount would make a real difference right now. If you can’t donate, a boost or share would also help us reach someone who can.
