You'd be surprised some men are absolutely radioactive but they love their pets since it's the only bond they can form with others. Case in point me when I was a bitter chud and my cat, and my dad and his cat.
Misanthropy and extreme love for your pets does seem to have a high level of correlation. There's even a series of action films starring Keanu Reeves about this.
Actionfilms ? I thought those were documentaries ?
I think it's just that the phrase ”cat dad” isn't very alpha male Dude Wipes Hooters.
