Green tea extract blocks DHT5! ...but also contains a fuckload of caffeine and can potentially cause cardiovascular issues if you're taking enough of it to work as a T-blocker sadness

...I wish I had known back then that you can just, like, buy bica and/or spiro on the interwebs. Don't try to do herbal HRT, kids.

I used to take reishi mushroom extract for acne since it blocks DHT, with good results I think. I went from having big cysts to just normal pimples, which I could mostly control with a pretty extensive face care routine.

Didn't work as well as spiro, though. That nuked my acne, I basically don't get anything besides a tiny zit every few months.

Red reishi is one of the better herbal T-blocker options. It's just rough since the supplement industry is so freaking unregulated, and concentrations between batches can vary wildly.

BAD MEDICAL ADVICE, NEVER DO THISI tried reishi for a bit alongside pueraria mirifica for E content, but since so much of the stuff just gets metabolized in the liver before it hits your bloodstream, I had also thrown in either dandelion root tincture or milk thistle as a CYP3A4 inhibitor. You know it's working when you have constant migraines and vertigo because your liver is getting ready to check out on you. I made it a little over a month before I had to give up and look into safer alternatives, like Brazilian bathtub estradiol.

For whatever it's worth, the first two weeks of that herbal cocktail felt about the same as when I started on bica + transdermal E gel, though.
