If the DPRK gets in this mix the US will unleash. Drones are checkers, MOABs/JDAM are chess. HIMARS as far as you can see and Patriots/Iron Dome/CIWS. You won’t be able to get a fruit fly in.

And what if we deploy a carrier into the Black Sea.

Game over.

the US coups "allies" all the time. DPRK probably has an internal russian faction they prefer, might as well put a thumb on the scale for whatever comes after putin.

There's no way. DPRK leadership aren't dumb. Destabilizing a military and economic ally for ideological reasons would be suicidal. Especially for a country that has been sanctioned by the rest of the world. The US can coup whoever because they're the global hegemon and they can treat their "allies" as servants or piggy banks. There's very few countries who could do anything to stop the US from couping them. Its basically only the countries that have a strong autonomous state separate from the US who are already seen as enemies for that reason (China, Iran, Russia, DPRK).

Exactly. The US has been trying to overthrow Putin for at least a decade at this point but they cannot. Why would the DPRK succeed where the CIA, world coup champions, failed - even if they were so inclined to embark on such a suicidal reckless path?

Juche power.

But yeah they wouldn't because they're smart, maintaining a relationship with another major trading partner outside of China, that isn't constrained by US sanctions(to an extent) is beneficial to the revolution

The DPRK is really not in a position to do this and Russia is one of its two most important allies by a very wide margin.

Those are not allies in the traditional sense, they are vassals. And they coup them to keep them aligned to their interests. Russia is already totally aligned with DPRK’s interests, there’s no change that needs to occur
