Tbf I haven't read the Bible either as a non-Christian. I just like to read about smth before I commit to it and idrc about metaphysics much to read a religious book

Fair, but you're not being hypocritical then! Folks who claim to believe what any given text says, should at least read it before claiming to agree with it.
