And what's the origin of that phrase?

And yes I am an old geezer, a slow one too.

I am on Summit, how was I tagged as scary troll ๐Ÿ˜‚ ?

I think it would be a useful feature

But it is PRIVATE right? Like only I can see it, right?

I think.l it is a nice feature for when I befriend someone here and I can add a tag explaining how we became friends. I have MCI, so the memory is fried (KFB)

Yeah, it's private. You just long press a person's username and hit the "Tag User" button.

Woooww, lemmy is awesome!!!

Your tag is Question Killer, 'cause you killed my question with an answer

Edit: I also just poopoopeepee

Woooww, lemmy is awesome!!!

This is not a Lemmy feature, it is an app feature. It is also available in piefed, and many piefed apps.

[-] mountainRadish@lemmy.world 1 points 10 hours ago

Oh :( so does that mean that all the tags are stored in the app locally and will be lost on reinstall?!

[-] nocturne@slrpnk.net 4 points 10 hours ago

Unsure how the apps actually handle it, but more than likely, unless you are using piefed, in which case it is saved to your account.

Lol thanks. I'm more of a troll troller most of the time. You'll typically find me replying to the most downvotes comment in a thread, telling them why they are dumb and shouldn't comment. I do try to be helpful occasionally though.

[-] mountainRadish@lemmy.world 1 points 10 hours ago

So I sound dumb and a troll? Or are you sarcastic?

Also, this tag feature seems to be not related to Lemmy but rather Summit.

[-] Assassassin@lemmy.dbzer0.com 2 points 8 hours ago

No, I wasn't calling you dumb or a troll. Just saying that your tag for me might confuse you in the wild because I'm not normally engaging with nice people like yourself.
