So basically I live in a developing country and brand condoms (like Durex and other known brands) are imported and thus the price is really steep compared to condoms you can get at the grocery store, especially given the income in the country. These are some condoms usually made in China and are considerably cheaper. I am with the same partner for years so I am not worried about STDs, but just the birth control aspect of it. She recently stopped the birth control pill that's why it only came up now. I have been struggling to make ends meet so it's not just a desire to spend less but I'd have to cut back on some essentials if I go the branded condoms route.
