They can poison your food, or sell substandard/filler/replacement goods, and you do not check

Exactly, mine was caught selling expired meat, like, replacing the date. Unfortunately, however, The Breatharians aren't right, no matter how bad our food supply is we don't only need sun on our assholes for sustenance (despite whether or not they claim to be experts themselves), we have to eat the poison. Or exclusively hunt, I guess, but that isn't feasible at scale, sure I can but if we all do deer will be extinct within a year or five.

They have keys to your house that you trust them to not use, and you might have an alarm system that makes this a moot point and you actually don't trust them

Tbf I own my house, no landlord. BUT before when I rented I never trusted them. "They have keys" that they use all the time, they own the place, I can only stop them insofar as they legally have to give notice, I can't say "no" to that. Tbh idt you can legally install an alarm system in a place you don't own without the owner's consent either, but yeah, who the fuck trusts a landlord?! You're crazy for that one.

You don't test your water, you trust that it's within acceptable limits

You assume I do, that has no bearing on whether or not I actually do. Divorce you from everyone else, wearenotthesame.jpg. The issue is if I don't drink water every three days I'll die, maybe I can make it to 7 before the kidneys fail and I seize to death but the damage is done. Since you cannot divorce the concept of trust and the covid vaccine, I've had covid multiple times and lived, like, at home chillin watching spongebob. But the time I was severely dehydrated with heat exhaustion I actually almost died and had to get IV liquids (not a Liquid IV™), so no "you trust the water bro" is neither true nor "good enough," despite whether or not I have to drink water. Though now I'm gonna search and see if there's a better test than pH I can run to see if there's like lead or something like that, now that you mention it that probably exists.

There is a level of trust that you do display.

(X) to Doubt.

Is it because you don't think about these things,

If so, yes.

and you actually would do those tests if you knew what and how to test for

*Dancesafe Elrich Test in my fridge* "Yeah."

You know that there are consequences for the grocery clerk, landlord, municipal worker for abusing their position, profession, etc.

FUCKING LOL! Yeah if they get caught haha. And even then, you "trust" the Law Enforcement "experts" in the US? "Consequences? Where's that, New Mexico?" (That's a better joke than you may get, I'm referencing Truth and Consequences, NM).

I want you to tell me how the Pharma academics and industry are afforded any different level of trust to the engineering, agricultural, residential etc design and supply chains, the crux of my argument is that there is

They're no different. Does that make you happy? Good. Problem is you can't trust ANY of those industries. Pharma? Really? The opioid epidemic who? JFC why would you trust the Sackler's industry? "Academics" is too broad, I can't sit here and pick apart literally every subject, I have the material but not the time, I have to work in the morning (at a place where I'm an expert and I've never made a mistake, trust me bro), Industry, yes, notoriously trustworthy, "yes radium is safe to lick, do you want your $0.13 an hour? Then shut the fuck up Mary." Do I really have to continue?

Ffs my dude, know what? Yes. Just trust the experts, lick the radium, drive the cybertruck, take the oxycontin, you'll be fine.

Cool, so we agree that vaccine hesitancy is figuratively cherry picking, if people are paranoid and distrustful across the board 🤌🏻

so we agree that vaccine hesitancy is figuratively cherry picking

Nonononononono, don't hesitate on the vaccine, take Pfizer, J&J, and Moderna, take extras, sneak back in line and boof more, those were all created by Jesus Christ himself and questioning them is a sin, I want to be VERY clear that I'm not questioning the infallible Big Pharma industry who has never made any mistakes nor have they done anything malicious like Floridian pill farms.

But everything ELSE:

if people are ~~paranoid and distrustful across the board~~

Smart. Ftfy.

Nah I'm just accepting the intellectual dishonesty, bored of it

On that we can agree. Have fun trusting everyone blindly.
