Im in college rn and this is exactly what it feels like when my smaller classes do introductions.
I recommend making yourself more interesting.
For example, you could say that you're a free software enthusiast who's so passionate about open source software, you use an open source social media app instead of the corporate spyware.
And then they look at you like you just said to be an alien...
I used to suffer from that sort of problem, but then I started dressing like an insane wizard and being this weird all the time. Now people just expect Me to talk like an alien, so it doesn't catch them off-guard.
I should dress like a witch and when someone ask me what i did to fix their computer i can just answer "magic ✨"
