Heat acclimatization, yeah. You can make use of it to improve your overall performance in endurance sports too, on account of the increase in blood volume that comes from being exposed to uncomfortable levels of heat.

It takes several weeks and you have to do it semi continually to maintain heat acclimatization. So that doesn't really work for places that don't normally get hot.
