Ukraine is pretty much the only 'western' country with a legitimate grievance against Iran, Iran has for years supplied Russia with munitions that they fire at Ukraine, and that is one accusation that Trump and his admin never make against Iran to justify their warmongering.

I can accept a framing around the lines of 'Hey, Ukraine is fighting Russia and Iran is allied with Russia'. That's one thing. It is also a way to at least point out that France, Britain, Greece and the better part of NATO constantly mobilizing to protect Israel, KSA and to enforce the American Empire across the middle east is ridiculous. Like, it'd be naive? But it'd be something.

But then there's the up-shot: Ukraine doesn't just fight Russia. Ukraine is the new Israel, a country that uses its operatives all over the world for espionage and destruction under the American Empire. Rationally speaking, Ukraine should not give a shit about Russia helping the likes of Mali. But they still sabotage that nation, not because Russia is there (I mean, just let them spend resources there?), but because Ukraine bargains for its existence with the US-Israel axis on the basis of becoming Israel.
