certainly, my point is i find it worrisome when people emphasize and focus a lot on the mechanics of the operation, because it usually introduces wrong ideas.

the politics are both mostly unfalsifiable and introduce doubt around state power so i don't think it's very offensive. my opinion is that it's not a very effective grain to focus on in 2026 but it's whatever if that's how you want to convince people the CIA is bad
