I don’t think the “Singularity” is bullshit, we’ll get there if we make AI in a completely different way such that it’s capable of actually reasoning… Just these LLMs are garbage
Definitely but when dangerous people not only believe in it and actively push for it, it will still do harm. We're seeing it unfold currently.
